Soccer Highlights 1994
Best conditions for World Cup 1994 in the USA. Argentina takes leave, without Maradona, in the round of sixteen. Germany is one of the favorites, but fails in the quarterfinal versus Bulgaria. Sweden wins over Bulgaria 4 – 0, ensuring the 3 rd place. Romario scores for Brazil. The Italiens improve, thanks to Baggio. Final Brazil vs. Italy: after 90 minutes a goalless draw. Tragically, Baggio was the one, who shot wide the last penalty, so the penalty shoot-out results in a 3 – 2 – victory for Brazil. Brazil becomes the 1994 World Champion.
